  Position Description:

  Responsible for budgetary and account management for intercollegiate athletics and athletic facility operations; monitors revenues and expenditures; prepares mandated financial reports for Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA); forecasts budgetary adjustments; performs financial and budgetary analysis; ensures policy and procedural compliance; provides oversight on all financial and business transaction activity for intercollegiate athletics; serves on Senior Athletics Management team; and supervises and evaluates assigned staff.This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule after the first year of employment with the expectation of no less than 80% being on campus. Work arrangement options will be discussed during the hiring process.

  Education Requirements:

  Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required.

  Required Qualifications:

  At least five years accounting or financial strategic planning experience required. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Big 12 Wrestling Conference and the University of Northern Iowa.

  Desirable Qualifications:

  Division I NCAA athletic department experience preferred.
