Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner on prospect management and progression of individual gift conversations

• Gather content in support of solicitations and impact reports.

• Lead stewardship efforts and acknowledgment processes that recognize all gifts to Student & Campus Life program areas and athletic teams.

• Oversee student involvement in donor stewardship (thankathons, thank a giver days, etc).

• Manage development reporting on behalf of the team to track progress toward annual and campaign goals and work plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent combination.

• Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.

• Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an orientation towards customer service

• Experience working with data management and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work as part of a team. Open to feedback and demonstrates a growth mindset.

• Effective organizational skills, project management, initiative, and detail orientation. Curiosity and eagerness to grow knowledge base and deeply immerse self into the division.

• Energetic, self-motivated, and engaging professional with strong multi-tasking skills and sound judgment who can effectively and diplomatically work with colleagues, members of coaching staff, high-level administrators, volunteer leaders, and outside vendors.

• Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.

• Ability to excel while handling multiple tasks and competing priorities at the same time.

• Must be able and willing to work occasional weekends and evenings.

No relocation assistance is provided for this position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is located in Ithaca, NY. The successful applicant will be expected to workon site 5 days a week.
